Thomas Andrew Savage

Thomas Andrew “Andy” Savage, a resident of Tibbie, Alabama, passed away Saturday, November 05, 2016, surrounded by his loving family at his home. Andy was 73 years old. He was born June 28, 1943, in Grove Hill, Alabama, to William and Sadie Savage. Andy worked and retired as a security officer at Acordis. In his spare time, Andy loved hunting and spending time with his family. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Andy is preceded in death by his parents, Tommy and Sadie Savage; daughter, Peggy Sue Savage; Grandson, Jacob Hamilton Howard; and brother, Jimmy Bruce Savage. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 36 years, Gale Savage; sons, Thomas Savage and Ricky Savage (Sheryl); daughters, Cherrie Howard (Larry), Susan Williams (Greg), Brenda Howard (Rev. Carey), Terri Taylor (Sammy Sullivan), and Tina Parnell (Mark); 28 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; brother, Willie Ray “Red” Savage (Pat); sister, Shirley Lawson (Glenn); sister in law, Voncille Hayes Savage; and many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 10am until the 12pm funeral service on Monday, November 07, 2016, at Yarbo Assembly of God Church with Rev. Greg Morris and Rev. Carey Howard officiating.
