Thomas Lindsey Williams, age 79, a native and resident of Sunflower, AL. died Sunday, March 6, 2011. Mr. Williams was a welder in the shipyard industry. He is survived by his wife, Eunice Williams of Sunflower; seven sons, Thomas Douglas (Jeannie) Williams of Robertsdale, AL., Billy Ray (Sabrina) Williams of Sunflower, AL., Donnie Glen (Maggie) Williams of Citronelle, AL., Perry Graylin (Cindy) Williams of Theodore, AL., Lloyd Charleston (Ann) Weaver, Jr. of Bucyrus, OH., Gardner McKay Weaver and Joseph Irron Weaver, both of Sunflower, AL.; his daughter, Vivian Geneva (Clyde, Jr.) Byrd of Citronelle, AL.; three sisters, Mary Blackmon of Jackson, AL., Julia Parnell of Sunflower, AL. and Clara Ann Busby of Tibbie, AL.; twenty-three grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 12 PM until the 1 PM Funeral Service on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Clyde Byrd, Jr. & Rev. Ken Davis officiating. Interment will be at Byrd Cemetery in Mount Vernon, AL.
