Thomas Michael Lambeth, a resident of Raleigh, North Carolina passed away in his sleep on June 17, 2021. He was 64 years old. Tom grew up in Leakesville, Mississippi where he graduated from Leakesville High School. As a teenager, Tom was active in the Boy Scouts and attained the rank of Eagle Scout. Tom attended East Mississippi Junior College where he received an associate degree in Mortuary Science and became a Funeral Director. At the time of his death, Tom was the director of a recovery house for Helping Hands Mission in Raleigh, N.C.
Tom was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Shirley Lambeth, and his mother Agnes Susan Kniffin Lambeth. Tom is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth J. Holt; brothers, Frank (Sunny) Laska, Gerard (Linda) Laska; sister, Shirley (Donnie) Turner; grandchildren, Madeline, Walter, Grant and Luke. Tom loved and took care of his grandchildren and he will be greatly missed.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church on Sunday, July 4, 2021 at 2pm with Father John Coghlan as Celebrant, assisted by Rev. Dr. Otis Edgar Hamm, Jr. Inurnment will follow at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Leakesville, Mississippi. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to the St. Thomas Aquinas cemetery fund.
