Thomas "Bud" Williams

Thomas "Bud" Williams, born on February 28, 1951, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2024. A cherished figure to many, Bud lived a full life enriched by his passions and family.

In his younger days, Bud found joy in the great outdoors, spending countless hours coon hunting and fishing. Additionally, he took pride in raising chickens, activities that highlighted his love for nature and the simple pleasures of life.

Bud was devoted to his family, leaving behind a legacy that will be carried on by his sons, Brad Williams and his wife Teresa, Chad Williams and his wife Heather, and Chase Williams and his wife Melissa. He was also a loving father to his daughter, Lisa Taylor. His grandchildren, T.J. and his wife Megan, Shawna, Hunter, Alexis, and Grant; and great-grandchildren, Aubrey and Rylee.

He is survived by his brothers, Billy Ray Williams, Donnie Williams, Perry Williams, Lloyd Weaver, Jr., and Gardner Weaver; and a sister, Vivian Byrd. Bud's spirit will be missed by other relatives and friends who were fortunate to know him.

Preceding him in death were his beloved wife, Jeannie Williams; his father, Thomas Williams; his mother, Pearlie Gammage; his stepmother, Eunice Williams; and a brother, Joseph Weaver.

Friends and family of Thomas "Bud" Williams are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on Saturday, December 21, 2024, from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM at Freeman Funeral Home. Burial will be in Byrd Cemetery at a later date. 

Bud's memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
