Tillie Shawn Sharon Chestang

Tillie Shawn Sharon Chestang, a native and resident of McIntosh, Alabama, passed away peacefully at her home Sunday, June 06, 2021. She was 59 years old. Tillie was a lifelong member of Hillspring Holiness Church and loved her family very much. She was a caring person who enjoyed being around everybody she met. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Gladys Chestang; brothers, Charles “Peter Rabbit” Chestang, Raymond Chestang, Mike Chestang, Bobby Chestang, and David Chestang. Those left to cherish her memory include her brothers, Riley “Butch” Chestang (Mylinda), Richard “Rickey” Chestang (Darlene), and Charlie Elroy Chestang (Sherry); thirty-two nieces and nephews; thirty-one great nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Debra Chestang, Annette Chestang, Debbie Harbison, and Cynthia Chestang; and other relatives and friends. A wake will be held for Tillie at 6pm Wednesday, June 09, 2021, at Hillspring Holiness Church. The funeral service will be held at 2pm Thursday, June 10, 2021, at Hillspring Holiness Church with Rev. Roy Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Hillspring Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rickey Chestang, Jr., Blake Chestang, Charlie “Spanky” Chestang, Keith Chestang, Dakota Chestang, and Waylon Havens. Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Chestang, David Chestang, Jr., Bobby Joe Chestang, Jr., Jayden Ladner, Jordan Ladner, and Darrell Ladner.
