Tom Ranford Davis, Jr.

Tom Ranford Davis, Jr., 53, a resident of Mount Vernon, Alabama, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2015, at USA Medical Center. He loved to sing and play guitar. Tom, Jr. was a member of Lighthouse of Praise Holiness Church. He was loved by many and will be truly missed by all who knew him. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Fritz Davis; children, Roseann (Kirk) Byrd, Thomas (Nikki) Davis, Laci (Alex) Hopkins, Joshua Davis, and Caleb Davis; eleven grandchildren; parents, Tom Davis, Sr. and Bernice Davis; brothers, Henry (Arlene) Davis, Lenard (Willie) Davis, and Kenneth (Nadine) Davis, Sr.; sisters, Dorothy (Mike) Evans and Debra (Thomas) Sullivan; special aunt, Ruthie Mae Weaver; and many other relatives and friends. A wake will be held for Tom, Jr. from 6-9pm Tuesday, December 29, 2015, at Freeman Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 2pm Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at Lighthouse of Praise Holiness Church with Rev. Ken Davis and Rev. Gregory Weaver officiating. Burial will follow in Byrd Cemetery.
