Tommy Earl Kelly, a lifetime resident of Turnerville, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, October 09, 2019. He was 66 years old. Tommy was a retired boilermaker and he was an avid coon hunter and was president of Bush Coon Hunting Club. He also spent his spare time at Rolling Hills Mud Bog. Tommy loved his friends and was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, John Kelly and Rebecca Landry; children, T.J. Kelly and Savannah Kelly; and grandson, Cameron Hopkins. Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Darla K Hopkins (Ray), Amanda S Byrd (Chad), John Earl Kelly, and Drayson Kelly; grandchildren, Morgan, Cody, McKenzie, Madelyne, Preston, Bradie, Allie, Kaide, and Kris; great grandchild, Mariah; brother, John Sidney Kelly, Sr. (Leaster); nephews, John Kelly, Jr. and Jim Kelly; and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 10am until the 11am funeral Service Monday, October 14, 2019, at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Dees officiating. Burial will follow in Lambert Cemetery.
