Trave Kenneth Weaver, a native of Fairford, Alabama, and a resident of Saraland, Alabama, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2018. He was 70 years old. Trave served in the United States Air Force for four years and spent 19 years in the National Guard. He was employed at Scott Paper Company for 33 years. Trave enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Trave was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, three brothers, and grandson. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 46 years, Delores Weaver; children, Michelle Gibson (Shane), Melissa Hutcherson (Robby), and Jeremy Weaver (Theresa); seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sisters, Kathy Curtis (Larry) and Carolyn Baughman (Bruce); nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends who loved him. A wake will be held for Trave from 6pm until 9pm Thursday, March 01, 2018, at Freeman Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held 11am Friday, March 02, 2018, at Mount Moriah Baptist Church with Rev. Dwight Weaver officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Moriah Cemetery.
