Troy Luke Williams, 82, a native of Greene County, Mississippi and resident of Eight Mile, Alabama passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018 on his birthday. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and retired from Scott Paper Company with 38 years of service. He was a devoted member of Forest Hill Church of God where he was an usher, member of the A Team, and served in foreign missions. Troy loved gardening in his spare time. Most of all, he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence C. and Jamae B. Williams and baby sister, Shirley Annette Brewer. Those left to cherish his memory, wife of 19 years, Jean Williams; children, Jerome Williams (Kerry), Ashley Ramey (Jerry), Butch Harvell (Sandy), Linda White (Paul), Angela Watson, Paula Rich (Craig), and Jake Harvell (Toni); 21 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; siblings, Artis Mae Lankford, Asaline Baggett, Alton C. Williams, Douglas Williams and Bobby Gene Williams; other relatives and friends. The wake will be from 5-8pm Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Forest Hill Church of God – 5508 Moffett Road, Mobile, Alabama 36618. The funeral service will be 2pm Friday, March 2, 2018 at Forest Hill Church of God with Pastor Daniel Blaylock and Pastor Ernest L. Quinley officiating.
