Ulmer Harry Reed, Jr.

Ulmer Harry Reed, Jr., 65, a native of McIntosh, Alabama and resident of Satsuma, Alabama passed away Friday, December 21, 2018 at his home. He worked at the MOWA Choctaw Housing Authority for many years and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. Jr. was preceded in death by parents, Ulmer Harry Reed, Sr. and Myrtle Reed; son, Ulmer Cassidy Reed; siblings, O’Neal Reed, Trazon Reed, Bill Reed and Bertie Reed. Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Daniel Reed, Shanoa Reed Byrd (Rodney), and Johnathan Reed; four grandchildren, Jonathan, Marie, Holden and Emmi; siblings, Bernadine Taylor, Allie Evans, Sherry Ann Orso, Mollie Reed, and Sue Reed; mother of his children, Shirley Booker; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 10 am until the 11 am funeral service on Friday, December 28, 2018 at Happy Gospel Field Holiness Church with Rev. Donald Turner officiating.
