Vallie Pauline Flynn, a resident of McIntosh, Alabama, passed away September 27, 2017. She was 63 years old. Vallie was the daughter of John and Annie V Covington, born January 31, 1954. She was well loved by the community and her family. There was nothing she wouldn’t do to help anybody in need. She enjoyed gardening and making a home for her family. No matter where she lived, she always made the house a home. Vallie is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Thomas “Ted” Covington. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her, especially by her husband, David Flynn; children, Katina Monfra, John Guidroz (Barbara), and Carlie Weaver; grandchildren, Emily, Samantha, John Wesley Jr., and Layla; siblings, Josie Callais (Howard), John J Covington, Nita Weaver, Naomi Damico (Mark), Lillie Billiot (Shane), Anna Reed (Charles), and Benjie Covington; and other relatives and friends. A wake will be held for Vallie Friday, September 29, 2017, at Magnolia Holiness Church, beginning at 6pm. The funeral will be 2pm Saturday, September 30, 2017, at Magnolia Holiness Church with Rev.
