Mrs. Vania White Auvil Peacock, 80, a native of Dothan, AL and resident of Citronelle, AL died September 24, 2012 at Citronelle Assisted Living. She was an entrepreneur and businesswoman. She could make money because of her superb and keen business mind. She promoted many big name bands to the area. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and was a member of Memorial Baptist Church. Mrs. Peacock was preceded in death by her sons, Jimmy Auvil, Dennis Auvil, Ted Auvil and Eddie Auvil; brothers, Palmer White, A.Z. White, J.D. White, Ferrel White and Mack White; sister, Kimble Smith. She is survived by her son, Rennie Thomas; daughters, Debrah Frazier and Lottie "Tillie" Thompson; foster son, Ronnie Hartman; sister, Agnes Drasher; seven grandchildren, Clev Baggett, Jeremy Auvil, Ted Williams, Edwarbrod Thompson, Allie Thompson, Katie Auvil and Mack Thomas; four great grandchildren, Hannah Baggett, Madison Baggett, James Auvil and John Auvil. The family will receive friends from 2 pm until the 3 pm Funeral Service on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Stan Clayton officiating. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
