Venella Lucille Weaver

July 18, 1928 — September 27, 2014

Venella Lucille Weaver, 86, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2014 at her residence in McIntosh, Alabama. She was the mother and member of Memorial Baptist Church, previously worked at Vanity Fair and as a Teacher’s Aide at Reed’s Chapel School. Left to cherish her memory are five sons, Ellison (Debra) Weaver, Wayne Weaver, Duggar Weaver, Michael (Charlotte) Weaver and Scott (Vicki) Weaver; four daughters, Gloria (Alfred) Reed, Paulette (Joe) Dueitt, Bernetta (Fleet) Weaver and Sharol Weaver; two honorary daughters adopted by love, Barbara Schuetz and Sally (Keith) Faucheaux; twenty seven grandchildren, fifty great grandchildren; two brothers, Shomo Weaver, Jr. and Denny (Liz) Weaver; three sisters, Ida (Ray) Law, Ester Johnston and Tollie Bell Reed; other relatives and friends. A wake will be held Thursday, October 2, 2014 beginning at 6pm at Memorial Baptist Church. Funeral service will be held Friday, October 3, 2014 at 2pm at Reed’s Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Chad Orso, Rev. Jerry Waites and Rev. Richard Beck officiating. Burial will follow in Reed’s Chapel Cemetery. Online condolences may be given at www.freemancitronelle.com.
