Vernon Lambert

Mr. Vernon Lambert, 70, of Mt. Vernon, AL. died May 31, 2012 at a local hospital. He was retired from the shipyard and member of Lambert Grove Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving wife, Eunice Lambert; son Vernon D. Lambert of Mt. Vernon, Al; two daughters, Wanda Denise Lambert of Citronelle, Al. and Jennifer Ann Rushing of Mt. Vernon, Al.; two sisters, Ruby Jordan and Lorene Barber, both of Citronelle, Al.; seven grandchildren, Wayne, Jr., Lebaron, David, Anthony, Monique, Delanie and Chloe; five great grandchildren, Ava, Brody, MeKiley, Ashlyn and London; and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 3 pm until the 4 pm Funeral Service Saturday, June 2, 2012 at Neverending Faith Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Sullivan and Bro. Gary Byrd officiating. Interment will be in Byrd Cemetery.
