Warren L Stebbins

Warren Leroy Stebbins, 95, a native of Meadow Valley, Wisconsin and longtime resident of Citronelle, Alabama passed away Friday, October 30, 2015 at Grand Bay Convalescent & Rehab Center. He served in the United States Army Air Force during World War II. He helped the community of Citronelle and surrounding area throughout the years as someone that could be called on for one’s heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration needs. Mr. Stebbins and his wife of 72 years, Grace June Stebbins, whom he was preceded in death by, were faithful members of First Baptist Church of Citronelle. Left to cherish his memory is his son, Ramon LaRoy (Ellen) Stebbins; daughter, Melanie Jane (Jim) Newberry; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. The wake will be 5-8 pm Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Freeman Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 10 am Monday, November 2, 2015 at Freeman Funeral Home with Dr. Elbert Charpie officiating. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mr. Stebbins may be made to Wooden Boat Ministry 2175 O’Rourke Drive Mobile, Alabama 36695.
