Wesley Raymond Rowell, 82, a native and resident of Citronelle, Alabama passed away Friday, January 9, 2015 at Springhill Memorial Medical Center. Mr. Rowell was a Korean Conflict Veteran and member of the American Legion Post # 164. He was a car salesman for the majority of his life and didn’t meet a stranger, always helping others in need as a faithful member of New Home Baptist Church. He loved and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Wesley was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Ruth Rowell; siblings, Cliff Rowell, Paul Gene Rowell, Joe Rowell. Left to cherish his memory is wife, Arlow Rowell; two sons, Tommy (Marilyn) Rowell and Ronnie (Tanya) Rowell; six grandchildren, Ashley Rowell Malone, Jason Rowell, Blake Rowell, Taylor Rowell, Malia Rowell, Bailey Rowell; five great grandchildren, Tyler, AnnaMarie, Anleigh Jase, Carsen, Anderson; sister, Ruth Miller; brothers, George (Genevieve) Rowell, Bobby Rowell, Carl (Beverly) Rowell, Malcolm (Jeanette) Rowell; sister in law, Regina Rowell; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 12pm until the 2pm funeral service on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at New Home Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Bryan officiating. Uncle Wesley’s nephews, Joey Rowell, Keith Rowell, Carl “Jr” Rowell, Tim Miller, Andrew Rowell, Jay Rowell, William Paul Miller, Kavin Rowell will serve as pallbearers.
