Willard Weaver, Sr.

Mr. Willard Weaver, Sr., 73, a native and resident of Mt. Vernon, Alabama passed away Saturday, March 1, 2014 at his residence surrounded by family. He was an owner/operator of Weaver & Son pulp wooding business and member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred & Louise Weaver; wife, Nancy Irene Rivers Weaver; sisters, Josephine Weaver and Jettie Cooley; brother, Donald Paul Weaver. Left to cherish his memory is his children, Geri Lynn (Robin) Drohan; Willard (Lori) Weaver, Jr.; Floyd Mitchell (Ashley) Weaver and Donald Delmar (ShaLeah) Weaver; two brothers, Ted Weaver and James Wilson Weaver; sisters, Lillie Weaver, Nellie Weaver, Juanita Taylor and Rita Goodman; eight grandchildren, Joe Ray, Jolene, Rebecca, Abigail, Breonna, A.J., Lil Mitch and EmmaGrace; two great grandchildren, Jake & Luke; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 12 pm until the 1 pm Funeral Service at Aldersgate United Methodist Church with Rev. George Weaver officiating. Burial will follow in Byrd Cemetery.
