William James Mitchell, a resident of Spanish Fort, Alabama, passed away peacefully at his home Saturday, September 04, 2021. He was 83 years old. Bill was an avid fisherman and loved spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Annie Mitchell; and grandson, William Connor Morgan. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 48 years, Betty Mitchell; children, Tiffany Morgan (Neal), Tammy Cooper (Kenneth), and Tracy Martin (Kenneth); grandchildren, Danielle Jordan, Jennifer Jordan, Caitlan Posey (Jordan), Blake Jordan, Courtney Murph (Bradley), and Tyler Morgan; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Nate, and Jesse; siblings, Don Mitchell (Charlene), John Mitchell, and Sue Weeks; many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 1:30pm until the 2pm funeral service Tuesday, September 07, 2021, at Fellowship Baptist Church with Rev. Marcus Hobbs officiating.
