William Taylor Stokley, 84, a native of Wayne County, Mississippi and a resident of Mobile, Alabama passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Providence Hospital in Mobile, Alabama. W. T. was a member of Lott Road Church of God. “Dub” enjoyed working in the garden, loved his fishing trips to Louisiana where he always had some Vidalia onions. Most of all he loved helping other people and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael and his daughter, Kimberly. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 63 years , Genelle Stokley; sons, Bo Stokley (Karen), Rick Stokley (Sheila), Ronnie Stokley and Paul Stokley (Michelle); grandchildren, Dale, Josh, Miranda, Valerie, Melanie, Nikki, Greg, Brandon and Ken; 14 great grandchildren; sister, Shirley Headley; other relatives and friends. A wake will be held Friday, April 22, 2016 from 6pm – 9pm at Lott Road Church of God. Funeral service will be held 10am, Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Lott Road Church of God with Rev. Eddie Brand and Rev. Greg Stokley officiating. Burial will follow in Valhalla Memorial Gardens in Semmes, Alabama. Online register available at www.freemancitronelle.com.
