Willie Ray Miller, a resident of Citronelle, Alabama, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2022, at his home. He was 78 years old. Willie was born April 15, 1944 and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War as a petroleum specialist. During that time, he received a sharpshooter medal. His trade was a fabrication specialist, and he was an avid outdoorsman. In his spare time, Willie enjoyed gardening, beekeeping, and fishing. Most of all, Willie was a loving father and a great provider for his family that he loved dearly. He was a man of God and raised his family to be the same. His family wants to honor who he was as a loving father and man of God.
Willie was preceded in death by his parents, Boyd and Dorothy Miller; siblings, Elizabeth, Otis, Marie, Artis, Catherine, Boyd ''Buddy'', Manual, and Orban; and great grandson, Beauett.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 51 years, Debbie E. Miller; children, Pamela Smith (Edward), Janie Singleton (James), Gina Sargent (Chris), Jason Ray Miller (Leslie), and a nephew raised like a son, Tommy Glover; grandchildren, Kimberly (Kody), Jonathan (Erin), Kristy, Caleb, Christina (Brady), Christopher, Christian, Julia, and Jason Noah; great grandchildren, Dawson, Elaina, Barrett, and Korver; siblings, Henry (Teresa), Betty Ruth, and Albert ''Man'' (Anna); other relatives; and many friends.
A wake will be held for Willie Ray from 6pm until 8pm Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at Living Word Church. The funeral will be held at 11am Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at Living Word Church with Rev.
