Wilmer John Morris, Jr., 75, a native of Butler, Alabama, longtime resident of Citronelle, Alabama and current resident of Georgetown, Alabama passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018 at his home. Junior retired from Boilermakers Local # 112. He loved his family, fishing, hunting and his garden. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Wilmer John Morris, Sr. and Vermell Morris; and brother, Robert Earl Morris. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Evelyn Morris; children, Terry & Suzan Morris; Darrell & Nancy Morris; Candace Morris Layfield and friend, Mark Taylor; 6 grandchildren & their spouses; 6 great grandchildren; brother, Guy Morris & his wife, Barbara; sister, Francis Martin & her husband, Tracy; sister, Betty Barbour & her husband, Paul; brother, Lonnie Morris; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 10am until the 11am funeral service on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Freeman Funeral Home in Citronelle with Bro. Jeremy Wallace officiating.
