Mark N. Craddock has dedicated his life to the solemn yet crucial profession of being an Undertaker, a calling that has resonated with him since childhood. His father was a minister and he witnessed firsthand the impact of compassionate care during times of loss. It was these early experiences that instilled in him a deep sense of purpose and a commitment to bringing solace to grieving families.
Born and raised in Alabama, Mark pursued his education with a clear focus on his chosen path. After graduating from Sumter Academy in 1978, he embarked on his journey in funeral service, earning an associate in applied science in Funeral Service Education from Jefferson State Community College in 1981.
Throughout his career, Mark has exemplified unwavering dedication and integrity. His tireless efforts to uphold the highest standards in the industry led him to become a member of The Academy of Certified Funeral Service Professionals. His passion for serving both the profession and the community was further evidenced by his appointment by four governors – Fob James, Jr., Don Siegelman, Robert Bentley, and Kay Ivey to the Alabama Board of Funeral Service. Serving as chairperson for twelve of his fourteen years on the board, Mark worked diligently to enact legislative reforms aimed at protecting consumers and ensuring ethical practices within the industry.
Mark remains deeply involved in his local community. He is a longtime member of Citronelle Methodist Church. As a trustee of the Citronelle Methodist Cemetery for over twenty-five years, he has earned a reputation for transparency, honesty, and a steadfast commitment to preserving sacred resting places.
In addition to his professional achievements, Mark finds great joy and fulfillment in his family life. Married to Regina Montgomery Craddock for forty-two years, they are the proud parents of three sons, Nelson (Kasey), Carter, and Duncan and doting grandparents to Zoey and Caster.
As he continues to serve with distinction, Mark Craddock stands as a beacon of compassion, integrity, and service in the noble vocation of funeral service.
Regina M. Craddock, married for 42 years, is a devoted mother to three sons—Nelson (Kasey), Carter, and Duncan—and a proud grandmother of Zoey and Caster. She cherishes spending time with her family. She is a longtime member of Citronelle Methodist Church. Since 1986, Regina has served with compassion at Freeman Funeral Home, becoming a Licensed Funeral Director and preneed sales agent in 1991. Alongside her professional commitments, she finds joy in outdoor pursuits, tending to her garden and caring for her miniature cows and chickens. Her life exemplifies a balance of familial devotion, professional excellence, and a deep connection to nature.
Randall Dwight Weaver, Sr. is a licensed funeral director and cremationist with over 12 years of experience. His passion for the funeral business dates back to his teenage years, driving his commitment to serving families during their most difficult times. Alongside his professional endeavors, Randall is a devoted husband, father to three children, and proud grandfather and great-grandfather. With over fifty years of experience as a pastor and minister, he brings a compassionate and empathetic approach to both his spiritual and funeral service roles, providing unwavering support to those in need.
Rebecca Ivy is a dedicated mother, wife, and nurse of 22 years. Transitioning to funeral Service in midlife, she is now a licensed funeral director and embalmer. She honors life's full circle with compassion, reverence, and grace. While attending Jefferson State Community College's Funeral Service Program, she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Rebecca feels honored to provide care to the loved ones of the families she serves. Rebecca is a member of St Thomas Aquanis Catholic Church. Outside of work, she enjoys being outdoors, tending to her plants, and spending time with her family.
Robin K. Mason is a licensed funeral director and cremationist that has been in the funeral business for over four years, bringing her expertise and compassion to every family she serves. A graduate of Jefferson State Community College, Robin has sharpened her skills in funeral services with a commitment to professionalism and empathy. Beyond her work in the funeral industry, Robin cherishes her time away from the office with her nine-year-old son. They share a love for the tranquility of the beach and the adventure of the river, making cherished memories together. Robin's dedication to her profession and her warmth as a parent make her a valuable addition to our team. With her caring nature and attention to detail, she ensures that every family receives the support they need during difficult times.
Haley Weaver-Young graduated from Citronelle High School in 2013. She and her husband Jeffrey have three children: Jaye, Jersey, and Jhett. For the past two years, Haley has been an integral part of the Freeman Funeral Home team, where she currently serves as an apprentice and pre-need sales agent. Her time there has solidified her dedication to providing solace and support to grieving families during their time of need. With a heart full of empathy, she approaches each family with kindness and understanding throughout the funeral process.
Currently, Haley is pursuing an associate degree in funeral service technology at Jefferson State, with plans to become a licensed funeral director. Outside of her work in the funeral industry, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. These moments serve as a reminder of the importance of connection in both her personal and professional life.
Larry Yonge is a lifelong resident of Citronelle, Alabama. After graduating from Citronelle High School in 1973, Larry pursued higher education at the University of South Alabama, where he obtained a business degree in 1978. His academic achievements laid the foundation for a successful career marked by commitment and service to his community.
For over two and a half decades, Larry served as the Postmaster for the United States Postal Service, embodying diligence and professionalism in his role. Following his retirement, he seamlessly transitioned into the funeral industry, joining Freeman Funeral Home where he has been a compassionate presence for grieving families for seven years. Known for his tireless work ethic, Larry's dedication extends beyond his professional life into his roles as a devoted husband to his wife, Jaton Young and a loving father to his two children, Ross and Josey. Larry is a member of Citronelle Methodist Church; his faith and community involvement underscore his commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of those around him.
