Losing someone you love is always a very traumatic experience. It can seriously impact one's judgment, therefore, it is important to be realistic about funeral expenditures. Freeman Funeral Home does not want your choices to be more than what is affordable to you, and we will do everything we can to help you keep the arrangements within your budget.
Funeral costs vary depending on the funeral home and type of service selected. There are two types of costs associated with a funeral: (1) services provided by the funeral home and (2) merchandise such as a casket or urn.
If you are wondering how you can pay for funeral costs, we have options for payments that are due at time of arrangements. For your convenience, we accept 7 methods of payment, which are listed below.

- Credit Card
- Insurance Assignment of a Verifiable Policy (subject to a processing fee of 4.00%)
- Advance Payment by a Forwarding or Receiving Funeral Home
- Pre-Funded Funeral Planning
At Freeman we make sure that all charges involving the funeral home's services and merchandise are available and are included in the price given to you by our professional funeral home staff. We will provide a General Price List with all charges. If you would like a copy of our General Price List you can request one here.
If you have already made your arrangements and have pre-paid then you were able to express your own wishes and relieve this emotional and financial burden from your family.
We Honor All Burial Policies 100%. In other words, full credit will be given for your burial policy or life insurance policy. There will be absolutely no reduction of burial policy benefits when applied to services and merchandise at Freeman.
If you have a burial policy through a burial association within 25 miles of Freeman and would like to use our funeral home you may contact us and we will give you and your family FULL credit for the amount on that policy. This includes everyone that is currently on that policy.
